Found my box of collected squares.

Loving this composition. Showing off other people’s work. Some of these fabrics just a hoot.

 Have stayed on track since august. My usual working on three or four at a time. What I do each day very dependent on my astigmatism. Soo I figure no matter which as long as I keep moving forward…there is a lot but nice to see finishes. Need to make some decisions on this Swedish death process. Where they should all go and where in the world??? Maybe leave them all for karma to take care of??? 

UFO age panic is on.

 How did I get to this age. Age guilt has set in. Soooo many to finish and sooo hard to stay on track. Just a few I found including small landscapes.

The background was made from a tank top-it was a knit fabric with a little stretch. Made long time ago but I still like it.

Still trying to finish and organize all my stuff.

Siddi three almost done

So close and loving the process

Would like to work in all solids using embroidery thread for stitching. I made this with flowers from Kaffe Fassett fabrics. Margaret fabrizio used bright roses on one of hers and I loved how they anchored the corners. Her videos on you tube are so inspiring

 Number three about 45 by 60 is almost done.

 

Love these orange tulips.. loving spring.bleeding hearts made it through winter . Sooo pretty.

learning siddi construction.

 +almost done with siddi number two. these are so much fun to make. piecing and quilting at the same time. have found two other batting pieces to use. Lots of ideas for some more. have been using three strands of embroidery floss, also aurifil number 12 and some white number 8 pearl cotton. All seem to work well. The bohn  needles number 7 works the best and is easy to sew. ppushing the fabric onto the needles instead of pushing the needle is becoming easier.  actually excitedd to see in the next couple of days this will be done.
